  • What is Sunset at Southridge?
    Sunset at Southridge is a family-friendly food truck event held on Friday evenings from August 21 to October 2. We offer some of the most popular food trucks in the Tri-Cities, along with live music, a free kids activity, rides on the Gesa Carousel of Dreams, plus a playground, aquatic playground and more! We often have special guests, such as the Kennewick Police Department, Kennewick Fire Department and others to make it the perfect Friday night out with the family.
  • Where is the event held?
    Sunset at Southridge is held at the Southridge Sports and Events Complex and the Gesa Carousel of Dreams in Kennewick. The street address is 2901 Southridge Boulevard. The location is easily accessed off Highway 395 or Interstate 82. We are in south Kennewick near Trios Hospital and Southridge High School.
  • When is the event?
    The event is held the Friday evenings from August 21 until October 2. The event begins at 4:00pm and ends at 7:00pm. Occasionally a vendor will run out of some or all of their products before 7pm. The Gesa Carousel of Dreams remains open until 7pm during Sunset at Southridge events.
  • Is there a charge to attend?
    Sunset at Southridge is a free event to attend, thanks to the support of our sponsors, Retter & Company | Sotheby's International Realty and Toyota of Tri-Cities. You'll purchase food and beverage items directly from the food vendor if you desire. There are no tickets to purchase or admission charge to the event. Your first carousel ride is included with your $7 dinner special purchase and you can purchase additional rides on the carousel if you desire. Carousel rides range from $2-$3 per ride depending on the number of tokens purchased.
  • How can I become a vendor?
    Sunset at Southridge is open to licensed food vendors. We do not allow non-food vendors or booths. Vendors must have a City of Kennewick business license, a permit from the Benton-Franklin Health Department with a current inspection on file and commericial liability insurance. To be considered for inclusion at the event, please send an email to Vendor Coordinator Parker Hodge. There is currently a waiting list for the 2020 event.
  • Are pets welcome?
    Yes! This is a pet-friendly event. Leashed animals are welcome to attend but are not allowed on the splash pad or inside the carousel building.
  • Is seating provided?
    There are tables and chairs, along with several picnic benches made available to attendees. These generally fill quickly, so we welcome camping chairs and blankets so you can create your own seating area.
